We have been working with James May’s Theory Training App team, and they have agreed to give you a free copy (usually £4.99)
Chris has been trying it out!
“It is very James May - a little quirky and somewhere between cringe and comical.
I found it surprisingly engaging and compulsive.
The app uses algorithms to tailor the learning to the individuals knowledge. It sets a schedule encouraging time and effort is put in. The broken down approach worked really well for me, and I love a bit of ‘gamefied’ learning with badges available for working hard.
I was surprisingly impressed at James’ Hazard Perception commentary, but feel this could be missed if you don’t review them. In conclusion, it isn’t just a money maker. They genuinely want people to learn and have plans for the future. Most importantly they want us (ADIs) to offer input.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.”
We (DITC) are also arranging a £1 commission for each of your pupils that purchase the app. Details to follow.
The app team say:
“It's now available on Apple and Android phones - so all of your students can access it. Assuming they have a phone, obviously. And assuming they haven't smashed it in frustration at having their test cancelled in November...
We'd love to get your feedback on the app - what it does well and what could be improved. So if you haven't already tried it, we're offering a free copy to every DITC member.
If you like it and are happy to recommend it to your pupils, then we'll also be offering you a commission on every copy of the app that they download as a result.
If you’re interested in working with us, just email the team by emailing the address below, mentioning the DITC and tell us if you're using an Apple or Android phone.”
